Qualifications and Requirements for Teaching English in Thailand

Native and Non-Native English Teachers: Schools typically prioritize native English speakers (NES) from countries such as the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, and South Africa. However, non-native English speakers (NNES) are also permitted to instruct in Thailand, provided that they achieve a TOEIC score of 600 or an IELTS score of 5 or higher. This examination may be conducted in Thailand or in your country of origin.
