What You Will Need ? Acquiring a bachelor's degree (or its equivalent) in any field is mandatory. This is a fundamental requirement that the government has established in order to qualify for a work permit.

🌎 Native and Non-Native English Teachers: Schools typically prioritize native English speakers (NES) from countries such as the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, and South Africa. However, non-native English speakers (NNES) are also permitted to instruct in Thailand, provided that they achieve a TOEIC score of 600 or an IELTS score of 5 or higher. This examination may be conducted in Thailand or in your country of origin.

📜 TEFL Certification: Although not required for the visa, a TEFL certificate is preferred and, in many cases, required by institutions. Your employment prospects can be substantially improved by obtaining a minimum of 120 hours of TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certification.
